Justin Bieber Punks Taylor Swift

Justin Bieber wanted to make Taylor Swift cry on Punk?d! haha am I the only one who finds that funny? Seriously, I will admit it ? I already have my DVR recording the Punk?d series. I don?t care who is doing it, it is funny shiz and who doesn?t need a good laugh at 10 pm ESTon Thursdays? Life is hard, let the celebs punk each other and give us a good laugh over it. It is not going to flop though ? the execs made sure of that when they chose Justin Bieber to start if off. Who wont tune into that? The kid has a zillion fans! Justin was on Jimmy Kimmel live last night with his Punk?s mentor, Ashton Kutcher. It was there that he revealed his motivation behind pranking fellow do gooder ? Taylor Swift. “Taylor Swift is such a sweet girl…I just really wanted to make her cry.” And he does. Justin managed to convince Tswizle that she blew up a boat on which a wedding was taking place. I have to agree. I love the Biebes and Taylor they are good kids, good celebrities, good to their fans and thankful, so it is nice [...]

Voting in our opening round runs until Sunday at midnight ET, so if your favorite band is locked in a fierce battle — Foo Fighters fans, we're looking at you — there's still time to turn the tide. It's also where two of the most successful MMM bands reside: <a href="/news/articles/1635611/mtvs-musical-march-madness-the-champion-is.jhtml">2010 champions Coheed and Cambria</a> and the always dangerous Tokio Hotel, who have advanced to the Final Four and the Elite 8 in their two previous campaigns. Can anyone stand in their way? Probably not, but let's take a look at all the opening-round matchups. #1 Mumford & Sons vs. #16 F---ed Up: It's the plaintive pluckers versus the brutal bruisers in round one, as top-seeded Mumford take on the always dangerous F---ed Up. Despite the impassioned pleas (and <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/leftfordamian/status/179222794826027008" target="_blank">inspired trash-talk</a>) of F---ed frontman Damian Abraham, Mumford have dominated this one from the get-go and appear poised to waltz on to round two. #2 Coldplay vs. #15 Arctic Monkeys: Given Coldplay's run of MMM disappointments (they've made it out of the first round once), perhaps this one shouldn't surprise us, but, dang. Thanks to the surprisingly fervent support of their fans, it's the Arctic Monkeys who hold the lead, though their grasp on victory seems to be slipping by the hour, as Coldplay rallies to close the gap. Who advances? We think this one is headed for upset city, and we're taking the Monkeys to move on. #3 Florence and the Machine vs. #14 Refused: Florence Welch may not be the only female to advance to round two (especially given Paramore and Evanescence's early successes), but she might be the most unlikely. The selection committee believed that reformed Swedish punks Refused would take the upset here, but given Flo's massive lead, well, perhaps we were mistaken. She's a lock to advance at this point. #4 Muse vs. #13 Gym Class Heroes: Muse made it to the Sweet 16 last year before running into the buzzsaw that is Tokio Hotel. They're at least going to make it to the second round this year, as they hold a commanding lead over a surprisingly sleepy GCH. Still, with Tokio lurking in round two, we wouldn't hold out much hope for Muse's return trip to the land of 16. But, for one week at least, they're a lock. <center><a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/"><img src="http://www.mtv.com/shared/promoimages/news/m/mmm_2012/bracket_promos/420x265.jpg"></a> <a href="http://www.mtv.com/content/news/2012/musical_march_madness_2012/">Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket!</a></center> #5 Arcade Fire vs. #12 Tokio Hotel: Speaking of TH, let's just say they're looking tough, currently pasting Arcade Fire by an historic margin (at last count, more than 144,000 votes). Perhaps it would have been best for Win Butler and company to just have skipped this year's tourney altogether. Watch out for Team Kaulitz. #6 Fun. vs. #11 Semi Precious Weapons: Now this one could be interesting. Fun. jumped out to the early lead (having a massively successful single will tend to do that), but then watched as they wilted away. Thanks to the <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/preciousweapons/status/179340927838593026" content="_blank">tweeting</a> of SPW's Justin Tranter, it's the Weapons who now hold a sizeable advantage, and it looks like they're a lock to advance. Still, there is time, and we wouldn't discount the power of the Fueled by Ramen social squad just yet (hint, hint). #7 The Shins vs. #10 Coheed and Cambria: Uh, yeah ... this one was pretty much over from the minute the MMM bracket was unveiled, and right now, thanks to their (beyond driven) Children of the Fence, Coheed are up big. Perhaps their only challengers in this bracket are Tokio Hotel, who loom in the Elite 8. It should be a worthy sequel to their now-infamous Final Four tilt in 2010, which Coheed eked out on their way to the title. #8 Radiohead vs. #9 Bruce Springsteen: Sort of like pitting Duke vs. North Carolina in the opening round, this one has two legendary bands battling it out. And not surprisingly, it's been one of the closest competitions of MMM, with both sides exchanging the lead. Right now, it's Radiohead by roughly 1,700 votes, though this one will certainly come down to the wire. Too close to call. Pregnant Sienna Miller & Tom Sturridge: Soho Cafe Couple

Easing into the weekend with a relaxing lunch date, Sienna Miller and Tom Sturridge were side-by-side in the Soho neighborhood of London on Friday afternoon (March 30).

The expecting actress and her babydaddy grabbed up an outdoor table at a local cafe as they enjoyed the fine spring weather while responsibly sipping on refreshing glasses of iced water.

As for her experiences thus far during her first pregnancy, Miss Miller confessed that she's had quite the hankering for sweets as of late.

The 30-year-old dished, ?I feel very grounded, more than ever ? it?s a wonderful feeling. But all of a sudden, I?ve started to get cravings. I usually don?t have a sweet tooth but these tarts I could eat all day long!?

Unwilling to offer up much more about her baby-on-board, Sienna recently told Vogue, "I?m in my second trimester. So I?m I-can-talk-about-it pregnant, even though I?m under strict instructions not to say anything as it would completely defeat the point of everything I?ve tried to achieve in the last eight years.?

Adam Lambert's 'Whole Lotta Love': The Story Behind The Cover

Glam rocker tackled the legendary 1970 Led Zeppelin song for 'American Idol' rock night.

Imagine a freight train speeding toward you at midnight. Or a rockslide barreling down a hill as you try to outrace it. That's the feeling of the ominous, chugging Jimmy Page riff that kicks off <MTVNLINK type="url" id="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/led_zeppelin/artist.jhtml">Led Zeppelin</MTVNLINK>'s 1970 Stonehenge of rock, "Whole Lotta Love." And that's before singer Robert Plant leans into one of the nastiest, ecstatic rock screams this side of the Who's "Won't Get Fooled Again." That's the song Adam Lambert chose to sing on <a href="/news/articles/1610708/adam-allison-shine-on-idol-rock-night.jhtml">"American Idol" rock night</a> Tuesday (May 5), and, needless to say, it was a challenge that the eyeliner-loving Los Angeles stage veteran was more than up for, hitting a series of high notes and rock screams that would have made Plant proud. It was a risky maneuver that paid off for Lambert, who chose a tune that came in at #75 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" in 2004. <div style="margin: 0px 10px 10px 0px; float: left;"> <embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtvmusic.com:84215" width="256" height="223" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" flashVars="dist=http://www.mtvmusic.com" allowFullScreen="true" AllowScriptAccess="always"></embed></div> The legendary British rock act recorded the tribute to Chicago blues icon Willie Dixon during their second U.S. tour after working it out in their live show, including it on their 1969 classic album Led Zeppelin II. Like many of the songs Zeppelin performed early in their career, "Love" was a blues standard turned on its head with a heavy dose of crunching psychedelic guitar and thundering drums, courtesy of late drummer John Bonham. The song was based on a 1962 tune by another blues forefather, Muddy Waters, called "You Need Love," which was penned by Dixon. For Zeppelin's version, Plant customized the lyrics by adding some lyrical quotes from a few other songs Dixon wrote for Howlin' Wolf, "Back Door Man" and "Shake For Me," nailing the tricky vocal in a single take. It was also inspired by 1966's "You Need Loving" from the British rock group the Small Faces, for whom Zeppelin had great affection, but they also did not credit Dixon for his part in writing the original lyrics. The song became Zeppelin's first U.S. single and their only U.S. top 10 hit. Though their manager would not let them release singles in the U.K. because he thought it cannibalized album sales, the song was finally released as the band's only British single in 1997. Dixon sued Zeppelin over the song in 1985, claiming it borrowed too heavily from his "You Need Love," and Zeppelin reached an agreement with him, with Dixon using the money he received to set up a program that provided musical instruments for schools. A cornerstone of heavy rock, the tune -- which was the theme song for the long-running British countdown show "Top of the Pops" in the 1970s and '80s -- has been covered by dozens of artists over the years, from Tina Turner and Ben Harper to Prince, Slash, Leona Lewis, Train's Pat Monahan, the London Symphony Orchestra and Jane's Addiction. The trek would feature original guitarist Jimmy Page, original bassist John Paul Jones and Jason Bonham taking over on drums for his late father, John Bonham. "I've heard that from about 200 people now, and it might be one of those situations where it's just an online rumor or it might be true. But if you see anyone from Led Zeppelin around, let me know. I think I should actually fill in for Jimmy Page on the Robert Plant/ Alison Krauss tour." Cornell's denial comes just a day after <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/aerosmith/artist.jhtml">Aerosmith</a>Aerosmith guitarist <a href="http://aeronewsdaily.com/blog/2008/10/31/aerosmith-guitarist-says-page-trying-to-motivate-plant-to-return-to-zeppelin/" target="_blank">Brad Whitford confirmed reports</a> that frontman Steven Tyler recently met with Zeppelin for an impromptu jam session. "They did it for fun," Whitford said during an appearance on the syndicated show "Todd N Tyler Radio Empire." "I actually think Jimmy wanted Steven to come over and play a little bit because I think he was trying to light a fire under Robert." Rumors of a Zeppelin reunion tour have abounded since the iconic band played <a href="/news/articles/1576186/led-zeppelin-give-fans-a-whole-lotta-love-at-reunion-show.jhtml">a single reunion set</a> last year at London's O2 Arena. <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/twisted_sister/artist.jhtml">Twisted Sister</a>Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider added fuel to the fire last month when he revealed that the group was thinking of touring, with or without Plant. <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2008/10/13/another-led-zeppelin-rumor-almost-debunked/">According to Snider</a>, the rest of the band told Plant, " 'We're all rehearsed, we're ready to go. Here's a gazillion dollars on the table. If you don't do it, we're going out with this kid [Myles Kennedy].' " "And he can sing the sh-- out of Zeppelin," Snider added. "They're going to hope that Robert, at the last minute, will go, 'OK,' and step in." In a recent interview, Jones told BBC Radio Devon that a new singer was being sought to take over for Plant. "We are trying out a couple of singers," he said. "We want to do it. It's sounding great, and we want to get on and get out there." But Jones insists that he, Page and Bonham aren't interested in finding a Plant clone. "It's got to be right," he said. "There's no point in just finding another Robert. You could get that out of a tribute band, but we don't want to be our own tribute band. There would be a record and a tour, but everyone has to be onboard." Of course, even if Zeppelin were to approach him, Cornell might be too busy to take over vocals for the band. His upcoming <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/timbaland/artist.jhtml">Timbaland</a>Timbaland-produced solo LP, <a href="/news/articles/1596730/chris-cornell-debuts-timbaland-produced-track-on-tv-show.jhtml">Scream,</a> will be released within the next few months. Cornell told MTV News last month that some of his fans might consider Scream something of a departure, but he doesn't see it that way. "It makes me happy that there's this perception that I have a group of fans that I'm now sort of throwing a curve at and what their reaction will be," he said. "But I've been in this situation so many times already. When I put out [1999's] Euphoria Morning, my main goal was to create an album that sounded like nothing I'd done in Soundgarden, and I did that. I also had that with Temple of the Dog, where I showed up with songs that weren't necessarily riff-based. And then, of course, the pairing of me and members of <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/rage_against_the_machine/artist.jhtml">Rage Against the Machine</a>Rage Against the Machine had everyone sort of speculating about what that would sound like. "It feels like I've done this so many times that when it's presented to me as being a departure, I feel that's a misconception," he added. "I feel like that's my theme at this point."

Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel Cover Up Their Very Sexy Bikini Bodies

Victoria's Secret debuted their VS Swim Collection at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills this morning with Angels Miranda Kerr and Candice Swanepoel dressed in bikinis. The brisk temperatures required an extra layer of clothing for Miranda and Candice, who slipped crochet tops over their bright two-piece swimsuits.

We were on hand for the event and chatted with the ladies about the new swim collection, their fitness secrets, and beauty tips. Miranda even dished about her yoga routine and said Flynn is a fan of downward dog - stay tuned for more on an upcoming PopSugar Rush! Miranda's back in LA following a visit to the Big Apple. Flynn and Miranda reunited with Orlando last week, and they're prepping for a big Saturday night party at their home. Miranda's hosting friends and family for a candlelit dinner while they observe this year's Earth Hour, which takes place March 31 at 8:30 p.m.

'Hunger Games' Postmortem: Five Lessons For 'Catching Fire'

In this week's Hobnobbing, we take a look at how Gary Ross' sequel can build upon the success of the first.

To no one's surprise, the highly anticipated "Hunger Games" opened last week to boffo box-office numbers, all but guaranteeing the second installment in Suzanne Collins' series, "Catching Fire," will set theaters ablaze come November 22, 2013.

Director Gary Ross, who will also helm the follow-up, has already begun formulating his vision for the 75th annual Hunger Games, telling MTV News, "I have some ideas about how to do 'Catching Fire' slightly differently, but I don't want to share them yet. Not because I'm being evasive, but just because they're not fully baked. But yes, I think it will look and feel slightly different from the first."

With its jungle-like setting, the next arena will be a much different beast than the forested first, so it's no wonder Ross is re-jiggering his approach. We can only speculate that some of his sequel planning will include reviewing "The Hunger Games" in great detail — what worked and what didn't. To that end, we've compiled a list of five "Hunger Games" lessons that can and should inform "Catching Fire."

DO keep the arena underwraps
This one isn't so much for Ross as it is for the Gamemakers at Lionsgate, but we have to recognize the studio's smart decision to use only pre-Games footage in their aggressive marketing campaign for the film. In fact, I'd go so far as to say my favorite parts of the movie were from the arena, largely because they were fresh and unexpected. With the Quarter Quell's intriguing new venue, Lionsgate would be wise to build anticipation by keeping the tropical death trap shrouded in mystery.

DON'T skimp on the CGI
If there was a consistent complaint I heard from "Hunger Games" fans following the film's release, it was that the Girl on Fire scene — in which Katniss and Peeta introduce themselves to the Capitol, riding atop a chariot and flaunting flame-licked jumpsuits representative of their coal-mining home — was ... underwhelming. The flame effect just didn't look real enough. With a slew of new sci-fi aspects introduced in "Catching Fire," including mutated monkeys, we hope Ross can invest a bit more in the film's digital technology.

DO capitalize on Stanley Tucci
Say what you will about Jennifer Lawrence's gripping, gritty performance as Katniss Everdeen, but if anyone could be categorized as the film's scene-stealer, it was most certainly Stanley Tucci, whose blue-haired, big-teethed Caesar Flickerman was nothing short of mesmerizing (and a handy exposition device to boot!). Heck, I'd pay to watch a Caesar Flickerman spin-off once all three (four?) "Hunger Games" films debut. "Caesar Flickerman: Not So Blue." Think about it, Lionsgate.

DON'T downplay the dangers of the arena
Between her 23 fellow tributes, tracker jackers and muttations, Katniss had plenty to contend with in the arena. But, as my roommate so astutely pointed out to me long after I watched the film and didn't notice, we never really see Katniss hungry or thirsty. Limiting the violence for a PG-13 rating is an understandable edit, but why dull down the deadliness of the Games otherwise? In "Catching Fire," we need to see Katniss and her fellow tributes truly struggle, not simply limp along.

DO make artful additions (especially if they're directed by Steven Soderbergh)
By shifting the viewpoint of the film from Katniss' first-person perspective, Ross was able to open up the world of Panem in a way we hadn't experienced before. The addition of the control room, Seneca Crane's implied death by berries and, most notably, the District 11 riot only added to the film.

Justin Bieber's 'Boyfriend' Poised For Big Debut

He's beloved by millions of teenage girls who already think of him as their <a href="/news/articles/1681772/justin-bieber-boyfriend-mike-posner.jhtml">"Boyfriend,"</a> and now <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>'s edgier track seems poised to be one of the teen star's biggest hits yet. According to <a href="http://www.billboard.com/news/justin-bieber-s-boyfriend-bound-for-big-1006589752.story#/news/justin-bieber-s-boyfriend-bound-for-big-1006589752.story" target="_blank">Billboard,</a> the song, which dropped Monday, could sell upwards of 400,000 downloads in its first week, giving it a big push on next week's Billboard Hot 100 chart. This would give the singer his best sales week for a song to date in his career. <embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:753202/cp~vid%3D753202%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A753202" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed> His biggest thus far belongs to "Never Say Never," which moved 199,000 downloads in its first week, eventually peaking at #5 on the Digital Songs chart. Based on the estimates for his Hot 100 debut (which takes into account radio airplay, sales and streaming data), Bieber could land in the top five going into next week. So far, his most ubiquitous track, "Baby," is also his highest debut on the Hot 100, having landed at #5 in 2010. It seems that radio is also embracing the lead <a href="/news/articles/1681863/justin-bieber-believe-album.jhtml">id="1681863">Believe single</a>. While Bieber has always had a large fanbase and solid record sales, radio airplay has eluded him a bit. But Billboard further reports that this song could land him in a solid place on the Pop Songs top 10 based on early airplay. So far, he's only managed to land at #14 in 2009 with "One Time" and #16 with "Baby." "Boyfriend" was co-produced and co-written by Mike Posner, who explained to MTV News that they always intended to make a song that would shift Bieber's career from tween heartthrob to legitimate pop star. "I think our goal was to make something that me and my friends could listen to in the car," Posner explained. "I think we've all known Justin since he was 13, and that's not the kid I was in the studio with anymore. He's an 18-year-old. He skateboards with Lil Wayne and hangs out with Lil Twist. Those are his homies. And he listens to hip-hop and he's a really cool kid. He's not like a corny guy."
